The lost soul

The lost soul wandering about miserable failure at every turn defeat and anguish.

These souls have the will and the freedom to wonder. We know this as our free will. The soul's choice of wandering around the depths of the forest with no flashlight.

Hekate sees the lost soul and brings the light. illuminating the path so that they may see the path of least resistance, the path that is much more reliable.

The path they seek is one of freedom, the path of lesser woes. The path of least resistance.

But as free will stands these souls have the option to see the path and choose its venture or to continue the dreadful path of wandering the forest without a flashlight.

As the bringer of light I have to find acceptance in the choices some souls make to wonder the depth alone in darkness.

A hard pill to swallow for someone who knows the life of those choices.

Some must learn the hard way. May that be hitting tree after tree as they try to avoid the light from the path. Then that is the choice.

We can only continue to hold the flame for the ones seeking this path of illumination.
